Join Kalabash instructor Clinton Davis and friends as we kick off our bi-monthly concert series of American Folk Music.
Clinton Davis is a multi-instrumentalist from Kentucky who can play anything you put in his hands: guitar, banjo, fiddle, piano, harmonica. With his wide palette of instruments and sounds, he performs old time songs, ballads, and dance music from the early 20th century Appalachian Mountains, Deep South, and Western frontiers.
Rebecca Stout is an acclaimed dancer and singer rooted in the traditions of Appalachia and the Deep South. A teacher of flatfood dance, her work has earned her a spot in the International Bluegrass Music Museum in Owensboro, Kentucky.
