Learn the traditional techniques of the masters with artist Talia Ceravolo as she teaches two 6 week long workshops in Charcoal Drawing and Oil Painting.

Charcoal Course Sept 23- Oct 28th

This 6 week course will introduce you to a refined charcoal technique used by Leonard DaVinci. Throughout the course you will learn to build volume and depth by creating broad variety of tones and using a slow layering process. This technique improves dexterity, opens up your understanding of light and form, and helps you to produce life-like work. Perfect for all levels from beginner to advanced. 

All materials will be provided. 

Oil Painting Course Nov 4th - Dec 16th

This 6 week course will introduce you to the master techniques of oil painting. Beginning with a simple still life you will learn the techniques used by artists such as Leonardo Da Vinci, Vermeer, and Rembrandt. We will be using the underpainting and layering techniques that allow you build volume, maintain transparent shadows, and create the timeless "glow" of master paintings. Perfect for all levels from beginner to advanced. All materials will be provided, or students may bring their own if preferred.
