We are on the lookout for a ship captain to come on board and help us manage the administrative side of our school!

This position is part time (20 - 30 hours a week) and starting pay is $20 an hour.

1. The person in charge of operations at Kalabash. 

  1. During sailing hours, the ship captain insures the ship is in clean working order so that all sailors on board are happy, well fed and safe in case of sudden and unexpected storms. 

  2. Ship captain is also in charge of welcoming and enlisting new recruits and maintaining good vibes at all times for our passengers and crew.

 

MAIN DUTIES OF THE SHIP CAPTAIN

Writing correspondence and communicating with clients and teachers via email and phone.

Booking lessons, signing up new clients, collecting payment and keeping the schedule tight and organized.

Tidying up the space each day, watering plants, and being of service to the teachers, students and visitors who walk through the door.

Helping out with special events behind the scenes and working closely with students backstage or during class.
