Art! Drama! Music! Dance! In our handmade musical theatre summer camps, our young artists will create their own theatre production from start to finish. Taught by a team of visionary teaching artists, campers will design and build their own sets, props and costumes behind the scenes while preparing for their roles on center stage!

WEEK 1: July 20th - 24th, 2020 JAMES + THE GIANT PEACH
Full day camp is from 9am - 2:30pm!
We are thrilled to bring to the stage an adaptation of Roald Dahl's beloved children's tale that follows the adventures of James, an orphaned young British boy. Forced to live with his cruel aunts, James finds a way out of his bleak existence when he discovers an enormous enchanted peach! After rolling into the sea inside the buoyant fruit, James, accompanied by a crew of friendly talking insects, sets sail for New York City! How do we plan on making a giant magical peach? WEEK 2: July 27th - 31st, 2020 SONG OF THE SEA
Full day camp is from 9am - 2:30pm!
An alternative spin to The Little Mermaid classic! We are in love with this award winning animation, Song of the Sea! It tells the tale of an Irish youth who discovers that his mute sister is a selkie. She must find her voice and free supernatural creatures from the spell of a Celtic goddess. This camp will be filled with underwater creatures, mythology and song!
WEEK 3: Aug 3rd - 7th, 2020 THE SOUND OF MUSIC
Full day camp is from 9am - 2:30pm!
One of the most popular movie musicals of all time, The Sound of Music is based on the true story of the Trapp Family Singers. The beloved musical tells the fictionalized love story of Maria von Trapp, who does not fit into the abbey where she lives. While she means well, she's constantly in trouble. The wise abbess sends her away to be the governess for the seven children of stern widower Captain von Trapp. The children are uncooperative until Maria wins them over, sharing her love of music and teaching them to sing.
WEEK 4: Aug 10th - 14th, 2020 - THE BOXTROLLS

In the Victorian-esque town of Cheesebridge, the well-to-do citizens obsess over exotic cheeses and fret about the boxtrolls - a community of quirky, mischievous creatures who have lovingly raised an orphaned human boy named Eggs. When the town's villain, Archibald Snatcher, comes up with a plot to get rid of the Boxtrolls, Eggs decides to venture above ground, "into the light," where he meets and teams up with fabulously feisty Winnifred. Together, they devise a daring plan to save Eggs' family!
